Journée en Famille 2010

  Irish community plans “Family Day”On August 22nd, SPS will join with the UIS, I.C.C.C. the Montreal Irish Rugby Football Club and the GAA in hosting a Family Sports & BBQ Day at the MIRFC grounds in Ste. Julie. The intent is to recreate the community atmosphere of the traditional annual sports days that are still held throughout rural Ireland (with a Québec touch of course!).

There will be a bouncy castle for the kids, BBQ, races and games for children and adults alike. There will be exhibition Rugby and Gaelic Football, and mini clinics for the children
We will be visited by the Irish Wolfhound society, as well as the Pte. St. Charles Community Theatre, and the Irish Radio Show will be there.

La communauté irlandaise prépare une journée de la famille.

Plusieurs organismes (SPS, UIS, I.C.C.C. Montreal Irish Rugby Football Club et le GAA) joindront leurs efforts pour organiser une journée familiale -sports et BBQ-comme il s’en tient un peu partout dans l’Irlande rurale (avec une touche québécoise évidemment!)
